Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. The sign-in cookie is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent; it is only set when you sign in. Google Analytics runs only after you choose “Accept”.

Counting visits without cookies

Separately from Google Analytics, each page view is counted without a cookie: the page address, IP address and browser type are turned into daily-salted, non-reversible totals on our server. The privacy notice explains this in full.

Changing your choice

Use (also at the foot of every page) to accept or decline analytics again. Declining after accepting switches analytics off and removes its cookies from this site.

This page is kept under review; the date above changes when it does.
